SHM solid handling pumps are single stage, single suction pumps with a back pull-out type design. The pump section is suspended by a column pipe which also protects the transmission shaft. These solid handling pumps can be offered with a column length up to 6.5 m. The impeller is single suction type non-clog, free flow dynamically balanced. SHM solid handling pumps have standard grease lubrication, although oil lubrication is also available as an option. The complete range of SHM solid handling pumps is covered by four driving units, thereby reducing inventory, and achieving interchangeability of parts.
